SCREEN TEST: Journalistic Stance

Before my time as a Communication student, I didn’t consider how reporters would do their makeup. I always thought that anything would do and didn’t put much thought into how lighting, cameras, and colors would have a huge effect, both positive and negative, on the person.
Doing this activity taught me the proper use of makeup while also taking into account the lighting and how it would look on camera. It made me consider the colors I’m about to wear and not just throw anything on, and lastly, it taught me the importance of good posture and visual appeal in the field of media.
